The Syracuse University Campus is located just southeast of the Route 81/Route 690 junction. Both Route 81 and Route 690 can be reached via the New York State Thruway (Interstate 90).

From the North: Take Route 81 South to Exit 18, turn left on to East Adams Street, turn right onto Irving Avenue, turn left on to Waverly Avenue and take the first right into the Syracuse University campus. From the South: Take Route 81 North to Exit 18, turn right on to East Adams Street, turn right onto Irving Avenue, turn left on to Waverly Avenue and take the first right into the Syracuse University campus. From the West: Take Interstate 90 East to Exit 36, take Route 81 South to Exit 18, turn left on to East Adams Street, turn right onto Irving Avenue, turn left on to Waverly Avenue and take the first right into the Syracuse University campus. From the East: Take Interstate 90 East to Exit 36, take Route 81 South to Exit 18, turn left on to East Adams Street, turn right onto Irving Avenue, turn left on to Waverly Avenue and take the first right into the Syracuse University campus.
