The NMR facility, managed by Deborah Kerwood, offers daily walk-in use of a Bruker DPX-300 with easy access to standard observe channels. More complex experiments are run on a DRX-500 equipped with three simultaneous observe channels and three-axis pulsed field gradients. Liquids probes optimized for 1H-detection and for metal nuclei are currently available. There are also facilities for off-line data processing and solving biomolecular structures from NMR constraints. Other instruments are available at the nearby campus of the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF). The ESF spectrometers include a DRX-600 and a 300 with both solids and liquids probes.
